Overview
Hey everyone, this is Lindi and Russ from Love Create Celebrate. We’ve finally moved into our new fixer upper on the west coast! We have some huge renovation plans, but in the meantime, we’re setting up a few temporary, yet functional spaces in the home.

Step 1
One of the spaces we really wanted to create was an at-home yoga room or workout room. The entire main floor will be renovated in a few years, but we have a room right now with some extra space that we thought we could turn into a great, small home gym.
Since the space is only temporary, we wanted to do everything on a budget. Our plan was to paint everything, create a little bit of storage for our workout equipment, and hang up the workout equipment I already had.
Step 1
Step 2
We wanted to paint everything, including ceilings, walls, and trim, and we knew our Wagner Control Pro 130 was perfect for the job! We taped off the window, and covered the floor and then got to work spraying primer and paint.
Step 2
Step 3
Since we were painting over a wood wall, it required 3 coats of primer, while the other walls just needed one. The paint sprayer really shines when doing several coats of paint because you only have to take the time to tape off the room once, and then each of the painting coats goes super fast!

Step 4
Once the painting was done, we did a quick IKEA storage bench hack with a DIY box cushion cover, and we hung a few bars and hooks to hang all of our yoga and workout equipment. Finally, I hung my workout mirror up on the wall and the space was ready to use!

We’re so happy with the final results, and with everything that we were able to achieve on a budget. See the full makeover from start to finish on our blog and YouTube channel, Lindi and Russ.
